The chill hadn't bothered Mikey in the slightest. His fur and blanket, wrapped in a cocoon of a hammock was enough in the late fall's dropping temperatures. However in the early night hours, his nose twitched him awake as light snow flakes chilled his face. Scowling at his night's disruption, pulling his blanket across his shoulders, he trudged into his treehouse, snow matting up in his fur.
He drops to the floor next to the couch (seeing as the couch itself was occupied), annoyed, and promptly falls back asleep until morning.
His wake up call was a foot landing on his face. With a yelp he bolts up and rubs his face, glaring at the offending foot.
"Oh shit, sorry," Lin yawns, not seeming all that worried.
Mikey rolls his eyes and falls back to the floor with a thud, tugging his threadbare blanket over his snout and curling his legs barely under the blanket.
"What are you even doing indoors? Don't you like that wild man act of sleeping under the stars?" She mocks gently.
"Started snowing," he grumbles, tugging his blanket tighter.
Lin glances toward the window, looking at the white world surrounding their humble accommodations. She humphs and starts her day.
Mikey sits back up, pulling himself onto the couch she vacated, and looks at her incredulously, "Are you nuts? There is a blizzard going on out there."
Lin glances back at him, shrugging on a jumper, "Pffft~ it's just a little flurry. You should see a /space/ blizzard. Glass falling from the sky sideways in sub zero temperatures. This is nothing."
Mikey cocks an eyebrow in confusion, decides it's not worth it, and falls onto the couch.
Lin tugs on her boots and starts making her way to the door, "I'll be back soon, try not to make a mess."
Mikey flips her off silently as she leaves.

When Lin makes it back to the treehouse, her whole face has a red tint from the harsh wind whipped at her face, not exactly complementing her green complexion. Her outfit, once her standard dark grey, covered white with snow.
She is greeted with the sight of Mikey lounging on the couch, mug in hand, blanket over his lap, reading a book she had gotten him a while back on Aisha cuisine. He looks up at her, eyebrow lifted smirk on his face.
"I... I may have miscalculated how fierce this storm is." She huffed, pulling off her clothes angrily.
Mikey shifts his legs off the couch, setting his book down, "As bad as one of those space blizzards?" He jokes.
Lin snorts, "Hardly. I just underestimated my own ability to withstand this force for long periods of time."
Mikey chuckles and makes room for her next to him on the couch. She drags her cold toes over and rests her wet head in his chilled fur.
She grumbles, "I thought you'd be warmer."
Mikey laughs again, "It's still pretty cold, and it's not like we have a fireplace sweetheart."
She wacks him for the sweetheart remark, "And just why are you so content then?"
He motions to the mug in his hand, steaming in the cold.
She grabs it from his hands and sips it quickly, spluttering immediately after, "Fuck!" She coughs.
Mikey hesitantly takes it back, "Nothing like a little bit tea and whiskey to warm ya up. "
She blinks her watery eyes, "More like whiskey with a splash of tea! Ugh~"
Mikey shrugs, taking a long sip.
Lin snuggles up to him further, pushing her face into the fur at the crook of his neck, "I'm only doing this because this fur is actually pretty warm."
"I thought you said it was cold?"
"We're warming it up."
